Are slot games completely based on luck?

Winning and losing is a part of any sport and it definitely applies to online slot games as well. Online slot games do not involve any kind of skills per se. All you really need to know is some basic computer skills. The online slots pretty much work like regular slots, just click on the virtual lever and watch the reels spin. These simple steps are pretty much it. Sounds easy, huh? But the question is – are slot games completely based on luck?

Again, online slot games do not really involve “skill” (or so we think), it might actually involve a certain amount of strategy and some critical thinking to guess which turn will be the winning one. The general notion is that 90 % of all slot games are based on luck because of the idea that winning and losing of a player depends on the random number generator and the random outcome of each play…like the lotto really. Also, the chance of winning can change depending on the slots you choose. Some might be “luckier” than others. But, there is always an opinion that each slot machine has different betting strategies and themes…and luck.

So here is my take on strategy. In my experience, I feel that “3 reels” slot strategy (if that is what you want to call it) is probably the easiest to grasp. Also, the probability of winning in smaller bets, in my opinion, leads to increase your wins. This type of game always proves to be lucky for me. Oops, there I go using the “luck” word.
